A keener eye for sales

To help strengthen sales productivity, Xerox has chosen data mining and predictive modeling software from Rapid Insight.

"We chose the solution because it allowed us to analyze data in both a fast and intuitive way. It helped us achieve an optimal solution very quickly," says Dave Rowlands, VP of Lean Six Sigma for Xerox North America. "We expect our sales representatives will be able to devote even more time to developing solutions that make our customers more successful."

The project is part of Xerox's overall Lean Six Sigma program, which is designed to streamline operations and strengthen value creation for Xerox customers, according to a recent press release from Rapid Insight.

The solution will help Xerox improve the processes on which it relies to manage sales forecasting data. The software allows companies to explore, visualize and understand information, gaining more value from their stored data and gaining insights they never had before, according to Rapid Insight President and CEO Mike Laracy.
