Mixing BI with content management

InStranet has introduced the latest version of its Secure Report Distribution Manager (SRDM) product. SRDM V 2.0 is said to provide significant new efficiencies to large organizations seeking to address the logistical challenge of managing and distributing report-based information to large, complex targeted audiences.

The software enables BI managers and non-technical business users to search for and distribute reports to the appropriate recipients across the extended enterprise, whether those users are at headquarters, in branch offices, retail outlets or within partner or customer organizations, says InStranet.

The company adds that SRDM V 2.0 allow users to access a single centralized location for all reporting information, whether those reports originate from a BI platform, desktop reporting tools, CRM applications, or mainframe and AS/400 platforms.
