New dimension to collaboration

In a move designed to allow its customers to enhance their collaborative environment by accessing, visualizing and working on 2-D and 3-D data, SiteScape has integrated RealityWave's VizStream platform into its Enterprise Forum and WebWorkZone environments.

Through a browser, RealityWave explains, VizStream users to view, mark up, refine and configure complex graphics files including 3-D computer-aided design files, 2-D drawings and other data associated with design and manufacturing. The software dynamically streams data, meaning there is no download time and users can work instantly, the company says.

SiteScape Forum is collaboration software that allows users to create a Web-based work space. It offers threaded discussions, document management, chat, instant messaging, workflow, calendars and a Web file system. It also features pre-configured solutions such as Help Desk, Resume Tracker and Sales Account Manager.
