BAIN and BAAN join solutions

B.A. Intelligence Networks (BAIN, Southfield, MI) and The Baan Company

(Menlo Park, CA) have joined to offer a software solution to the engineering and manufacturing markets. The MANTA and BAAN IV products have become BAAN PDM, which enables the transfer of information between a materials/enterprise resource planning (MRP/ERP) system and a product data management (PDM) system. BAAN PDM offers an integrated suite of document management, versioning, change control, product structure and workflow management capabilities.
