HubSpot debuts first CRM connector for Anthropic’s Claude

HubSpot, the provider of the customer platform built on an AI-powered Smart CRM to help millions of scaling organizations grow better, is announcing the first CRM connector for Anthropic’s Claude, connecting efficient AI capabilities with customer context. With a paid Claude plan (Pro, Max, Team, or Enterprise), HubSpot customers are afforded tailored insights accessible via natural language based on their unique customer information.

HubSpot’s CRM connector for Claude aims to increase the value of AI tools by grounding them with proprietary context. Enabling teams to work smarter with personalized answers and visualizations generated from natural language questions, HubSpot transforms the way its customers work with data via intuitive AI.

“The HubSpot connector makes Claude more useful for our customers by grounding its responses in real context from their business,” said Karen Ng, EVP and head of product at HubSpot. “It’s a simple, powerful way to get insights you can trust, wherever you work. And it’s another step in making advanced AI accessible to every business.”

This connector allows customers to produce a variety of visualizations—including charts and graphs—and act on those insights from directly within HubSpot. For example, marketing teams can query Claude to find contacts who opened a recent email campaign but didn’t click through, generating a pie chart to illustrate follow-up segmentation. For sales teams, they can ask Claude for a summary of active details filtered by a range of attributes—such as name, amount, and stage, and sorted by closing date—and prioritize cases based on that data.

“Claude is designed to reason through complex questions and deliver thoughtful, conversational answers,” said Scott White, head of product, Claude.ai. “With the HubSpot connector, customers can bring their real-time CRM context into Claude—making it more valuable for HubSpot-powered teams looking to gain insight and take action.”

While focusing on efficiency, HubSpot’s connector for Claude also ensures that data remains secure within the integration. Users only see the CRM data they have access to in HubSpot, and Anthropic does not utilize the data shared through HubSpot to train its models. However, this is not the case when a customer chooses to provide feedback or opts-in for training.
