Northplains Introduces Cloud-Based Content Engagement Platform

Northplains, a provider of digital asset management (DAM) software headquartered in Toronto, Canada, with offices in Europe and Asia, has announced the launch of NorthplainsNEXT, a cloud-based content engagement platform for managing visual assets.

Creative and marketing teams are overwhelmed with tools in their marketing stack, said Hassan Kotob, CEO, Northplains, noting that the aim with the new platform is to get technology “out of their way” so they can focus on content that engages with their brand audience.

Providing an integrated solution for managing all interactions with content from ideation to distribution, NorthplainsNEXT is targeted at helping organizations overcome the challenges of handling large amounts of visual content in a multi-channel, “always on” world.

Instead of being built around user personas and simply connecting different systems, the company says that the new DAM platform streamlines the management of assets with one single user experience.

According to the company, the platform includes five out-of-the-box modules that cover every stage of an asset’s life, including creation and workflow, project management, editing and approval, cataloging of finished assets, collaboration portal, analytics, and reporting.

Via Northplains’ own API, NorthplainsNEXT also integrates with popular brand, creative, and marketing tools, while also providing an intuitive user interface to support rapid set-up for users, with minimal training and single-sign access from a variety of devices.
