Legacy introduces new network servers

Legacy Storage Systems (Markham, Ontario) has introduced a new family of network SmartArray CD-ROM

servers. Model CD-16 provides network access to 16 individual CD-ROMs and offers a storage capacity of 10.4 GBs, using four SCSI-2 four-disk autochangers. Models CD-28 and CD-48, with storage of 18.2 GBs and 31.2 GBs, offer access to 28 or 48 CD-ROMs in standing towers.

The SmartArray CD supports major platforms and connects directly to Ethernet or token ring networks using an AXIS StorPoint controller. Pricing starts at $4,800.
