Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport (DFW) wanted to modernize its business processes and turned to the Appian Cloud platform. DFW will leverage the technology to increase business automation and reduce paper-based systems. The solution combines process automation, native mobile application access and a social collaboration interface.

Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport is one of the largest airports in the world in terms of traffic, and the facility covers 27 square miles. Because of its size, DFW need a more efficient way to handle back-office operations. Through process automation, Appian gives the airport greater flexibility in its operations, while its mobile apps give employees better access to enterprise processes and data.

William Flowers, VP of information and technology services at DFW, says, "Appian Cloud provides us with smart and efficient business solutions that support our corporate goals of increasing efficiency and agility across our operations. The power of the platform, coupled with the speed and cost benefits of cloud delivery, provides our airport with the solutions we need for our process modernization efforts."

Appian technology will connect 2,000 DFW employees across all staff levels with enterprise data, processes and social collaboration enterprisewide.
