Expert System and MongoDB partner for big data

Expert System and MongoDB have inked a deal whereby Expert System’s Cogito semantic technology will be integrated with MongoDB-powered big data environments. The companies say the integration will enable MongoDB users—from systems integrators to independent developers—to quickly and accurately access unstructured data, boost text analytics capabilities, metadata generation, document classification and entity extraction.

They add that continued growth and diversity of information streams have created the need for a new approach to information management that brings scalability, flexibility and efficiency to the analysis of information. MongoDB reports its solution supports incremental growth and high-performance business environments. Expert System says its Cogito semantic software goes beyond keywords or shallow linguistics to take full advantage of their unstructured data.
