MangoApps secures Workday Design Badge to bring HR data to frontline and desk employees
MangoApps, the AI-Ready Employee Platform for the Frontline, announced it has earned Workday Design Approved status and is now listed on the Workday Marketplace, streamlining a slew of employee information in the platform.
According to the company, the MangoApps Workday Widgets bring employee benefits, paychecks, learning assignments, and time-off management directly into the MangoApps platform, so employees can access and act on their Workday HR data without switching systems.
For organizations running Workday alongside MangoApps, this integration eliminates a persistent friction point: employees, particularly frontline workers, having to navigate multiple systems to complete routine HR tasks.
With MangoApps Workday Widgets, that data surfaces inside the app employees already use every day to communicate, collaborate, and execute their work, the companies said.
"The Workday Design Badge represents a meaningful validation of our integration approach," said Vishwa Malhotra, CTO and co-founder of MangoApps. "Our customers chose MangoApps because they want one platform their employees will actually use. Pulling Workday HR data directly into that experience means fewer context switches, less friction for managers and employees, and more of the workforce staying connected to information that matters to their day-to-day."
The MangoApps Workday Widgets surface four core Workday HR capabilities inside the MangoApps platform, including:
- Benefits access: Employees can view and reference benefit information without leaving MangoApps.
- Paycheck visibility: Pay data surfaces directly in the employee's daily workflow.
- Learning assignments: Workday learning tasks appear alongside the rest of an employee's work.
- Time-off management: Employees can view and manage time-off requests from within MangoApps.
This matters especially for frontline workers who may not have ready access to a desktop HR portal during a shift. Bringing these capabilities into the mobile-first MangoApps experience means the same employee who gets a shift update, reads a company announcement, or completes a safety checklist in MangoApps can also check a paycheck or submit a time-off request in the same session, the company said.
The Workday Design Approved badge indicates that an integration has met Workday's standards for technical design, data handling, and user experience.
The MangoApps listing is available now on the Workday Marketplace.
