Nutrient’s massive update brings intelligence, visibility, and control to document automation

Nutrient, the leading platform for document processing and workflow automation, is unveiling a series of updates to its Workflow Automation Platform and low-code integration solutions centered around securing, scaling, and automating document-heavy workflows for fast paced, compliance-focused enterprises. These updates infuse intelligence into document workflows to not only fix current productivity challenges, but upgrade the space entirely, according to Nutrient.

"The future of business automation isn’t bots and Band-Aids—it’s about businesses upleveling their operational infrastructure,” said Jonathan Rhyne, co-founder and CEO of Nutrient. “Our platform focused on document-centric workflows helps teams execute faster, scale smarter, and maintain compliance, even as their organizations and requirements grow and evolve. This release brings that mission into sharper focus than ever before.”

“This release isn’t just an update—it’s a blueprint for how modern businesses should automate,” Rhyne continued.

Nutrient’s release is a bundle of updates for three core areas: document-centric workflow automation, scalable compliance, and low-code integrations.

For its Workflow Automation Platform, Nutrient is debuting four new features aimed at addressing core operational pain points. These capabilities include:

  • In-platform document editing, including mark-ups and signing for PDFs, Office files, and more, fully integrated with routing, approvals, and audit trails
  • Automated DOCX generation for creating consistent, professional documents at scale via dynamic templates that draw in real-time data from CRMs, ERPs, and databases
  • AI-powered data extraction, which can then be used to populate form data from documents instantly
  • Mobile companion app (available in public preview) that enables secure, on-the-go approvals and task management

Nutrient’s update bundle also emphasizes the importance of security, governance, and enterprise-readiness. Now SOC 2 Type 2 certified, Nutrient affirms its commitment to compliance while also offering:

  • Real-time alerting and event logging for process visibility and authentication
  • Secure credentials center for tokens, passwords, and keys management
  • Flexible deployment options, including cloud, private cloud, on-premises, and hybrid

To meet customers in their existing ecosystems, Nutrient is unveiling new low-code integrations for Microsoft 365 and Salesforce, extending Nutrient’s workflow automation. This includes Document Solutions for Salesforce, which delivers native editing and document generation directly in Salesforce; and Document Converter, which offers batch SVG generation, PDF-to-Office previews, smart redaction, and automated table extraction, paired with privacy-first instrumentation.

"Our low-code integrations are built to easily add industry-leading document functionality to major platforms that businesses are already onboarded to,” said Rhyne. “You don’t have to rip and replace—Nutrient helps teams scale document-related tasks securely, right inside the software they already know.”
