Kodak Alaris partners with Publisure to streamline the digital and print divide in customer communications

Kodak Alaris and Publisure are partnering to combine the power of the Publisure fully integrated multi-channel communications platform with intelligent data capture solutions from Kodak Alaris, enabling customers to bridge the gap between printed post and digital delivery, and intelligently transform the way they communicate with customers.

“This holistic solution by Kodak Alaris and Publisure will help customers to transform how they process physical and digital documents, reduce costs, achieve higher levels of efficiency, control, and value in their mailing operations,” said Graham Etherington, northern cluster solutions sales director, Kodak Alaris.

Publisure delivers a “best of breed” hybrid mail and digital delivery platform that future-proofs organizations’ outbound communications. By integrating scanners and software from Kodak Alaris, customers benefit from a complete solution for inbound and outbound content management, according to the vendors.

With both companies’ solutions, organizations can centralize all communications in a single environment and create a secure, auditable, and cost-effective workflow that will transform how they process mail.

Innovative solutions from Kodak Alaris streamline workflows thanks to intelligent features such as advanced indexing and extraction which get information into business processes quickly and accurately.

Publisure’s market-leading middleware platform enables customers to digitize physical communications whilst retaining the ability to choose their own non-proprietary communication channels.

Once a document has been digitized and metadata extracted by the Kodak Alaris solution (a QR code/barcode identifies the originating user and document), the document is indexed alongside the original to form part of the ongoing ‘conversation’ with the recipient.

Publisure is fully integrated with Kodak Info Input Solution to enable instant data capture from a variety of document types, with automatic separation, classification, extraction, and validation of all data for seamless delivery into business systems, which is key to driving productivity on an enterprise scale.

“We are delighted to be working with Kodak Alaris—by combining our respective technologies we are now in the unique position of being able to manage the digital transformation of both inbound and outbound communications within a single auditable workflow and intuitive user interface,” said Andrew Percival, managing director, Publisure.
