Explore how to build seamless digital experiences

Inconsistent online experiences can cause confusion, frustration, and distrust for visitors - which can hurt the businesses’ bottom line. But how do you ensure that each of your sites offers a seamless digital experience, the right content, and consistent branding at scale?

KMWorld recently held a webinar presented by Acquia, featuring Ryan Picchini, director of product marketing, Acquia; Craig Hanna, director of customer enablement, Acquia; and Josh Hoekwater, SVP strategic partnerships, Genuine, who discussed best practices for managing sites at scale and highlighted case studies from large enterprises that are doing this in action.

Market trends have seen an increase in consolidation in the past 2 years, Picchini and Hanna said. Many companies now have tens, hundreds, or thousands of digital properties to manage and consumers don’t care about mergers, they care about the brands they love.

Compliance with security and privacy initiatives are also huge trends. The cost of non-compliant sites is extremely high and the risk of non-compliant sites in a multi-brand organization is real.

More sites equals higher IT demands, they explained. Brands are building and managing sites than ever, with no signs of slowing. This puts tremendous pressure on IT.

The ideal state of online experiences includes digital control and growth, Picchini and Hanna said. The Acquia Cloud Site Factory is a platform-as-a-service solution that helps customers create, deploy, update and maintain hundreds or thousands of Drupal sites.

Acquia Cohesion is a full featured site building tool for Drupal that improves the development process and expedites timelines. Cohesion empowers designers and site builders to play a meaningful role in updating and enhancing sites, Picchini and Hana said.
