Easing integration

iWay Software has released a new version of its namesake software. The company reports that the major enhancements in iWay 2007 are engineered for increased enterprise scalability and interoperability. iWay highlights the following new features:

iWay Service Manager is an enterprise service bus (ESB) that enables organizations to create, compose and manage services from the wide variety of systems and technologies available through iWay's industry standard adapters. In addition to running as a standalone server on many platforms, iWay Service Manager can now be deployed within any Java 2 Enterprise Edition (J2EE) compliant application server.

iWay SOA Management Suite provides end-to-end management of security, policy enforcement, service monitoring and validation of services residing within an organization's service-oriented architecture (SOA) infrastructure. The suite can now monitor all of the services created from the many applications, technologies, databases, platforms and protocols that iWay supports.

iWay Integration Workbench is an integrated development environment for building, monitoring and managing complex integration solutions. By leveraging the open source Eclipse framework, this features is said to dramatically improve productivity for developers by merging the various components of iWay's integration software toolkit into a single development environment.
