KMWorld 100 Companies That Matter in Knowledge Management

Article Featured Image

When we first published our list almost a decade-and-a-half ago, our goal was to help shape the knowledge management market. Back then, KM was still shaking off a somewhat tarnished reputation after a number of well publicized, massively over budget failures.

Because we're all aware of the true value of discovery and delivery of the right information to the right people at the right time, we assembled a group of colleagues, analysts, system integrators and a select group of users for a year-long collaborative effort to identify organizations dedicated to that goal.

As has been the case since its inception, the list is intended to spark a larger discussion of knowledge management. We're always on the lookout for groundbreaking solutions or notable modifications to existing ones. And, throughout the year, the organizations and products we find most interesting will be showcased in our magazine and on our site, kmworld.com.

Even a quick scan of the list reveals companies with a broad spectrum of technologies, but they all share things in common. Each has proven to define the spirit of practical innovation by blending sparkling technology with a deep, unflinching commitment to customer success.
