Stellent & Symantec
The first external agents Stellent plans to release are for Symantec Enterprise Vault, Microsoft Office SharePoint Portal Server, file servers and user agent notifiers. In the case of Symantec, Stellent Universal Records Management will ensure emails and other items sent to the Enterprise Vault archive will automatically be identified as records that should be managed from a retention and disposition perspective without removing them from the archive. This process allows organizations to leverage the scalable storage of the archive while controlling business records stored there or in other systems in a consistent fashion.
