AvePoint aims for more productive meetings

AvePoint has released AvePoint Meetings 3 Service Pack (SP) 1, which, the company says, allows organizations to bring innovation to their meetings by changing the way employees organize them, take notes and track task assignments.

Providing support for SharePoint 2013 and SharePoint Online, users can simplify meeting management and help end the culture of unproductive meetings, claims AvePoint.

New capabilities include:

• Microsoft Outlook integration—enables sharing of meetings created through AvePoint Meetings instantaneously to attendees through Outlook in order to effectively integrate the application into an organization’s existing systems; and
• rich text editor features—new text editing features—such as bold, underline and bulleting formats—provide the look and feel of familiar editing programs, allowing users to better emphasize specific notes and action items for meeting participants.
