Augusta County Library streamlines its acquisitions process with The Library Corporation

Article Featured Image

The Library Corporation announced that the Augusta County Library chose the company to streamline their material acquisitions and receiving processes.

By picking the ILS vendor, The Library Corporation (TLC), offered its solution in the Online Selection & Acquisitions (OSA) platform, which integrates with Augusta Public Library’s existing Library•Solution infrastructure.

The library adopted the web-based acquisitions module in August.

OSA helps libraries simplify collection development and acquisitions with tools for centralized and decentralized selection, real-time fund reporting, electronic invoicing, and integration with major vendors such as Brodart, Ingram, and PERMA-BOUND Books.

With OSA integrated into LS2 Catalog, items ordered through OSA can be loaded directly into the catalog upon order, resulting in less manual data entry for catalogers and allowing patrons to place holds long before materials arrive.
