Thomson Reuters Unveils E-Discovery Solution to Offer More Control to Legal Professionals

Thomson Reuters is unveiling a new solution that will give legal professionals more control of data from processing through production.

According to Eric Laughlin, managing director of legal managed services for Thomson Reuters, with eDiscovery Point, the company offers a fresh take on the e-discovery process with a new platform built from the ground up. The new solution incorporates feedback from the company's design partner firms as well as  insights from its in-house managed review team, who have reviewed more than 125 million documents in the past 2 years.

Dubbed eDiscovery Point, the new web-based e-discovery software solution is aimed at enabling clients to upload and process documents quickly while leveraging the data-assessment tool and predictive coding to find, organize, and focus on the most relevant documents. The result, the company says, is a platform that is more intuitive and faster, and utilizes Westlaw search syntax, to provide quick and accurate results, regardless of data size or the number of concurrent users.

The HTML5 application is compatible with PC or Mac and supports all modern browsers.
