MDM for easier product navigation

SRAM, a manufacturer of bicycle components, has implemented a master data management (MDM) solution to enhance its e-commerce efficiency and create a better customer experience.

The company is using Stibo Systems STEP Trailblazer to develop timely and accurate product information and establish processes to allow internal and external customers, such as product managers and factories, to navigate product information easily.

Stibo Systems reports that SRAM is leveraging its solution to eliminate data redundancies and create a central repository of marketing text and media assets that can be applied to relevant offerings.

Prior to deploying the MDM system, product information was unreliable and scattered enterprisewide. With STEP, the manufacturer has created a unified global technology platform that helps ensure a consistent brand experience regardless of country or language.

SRAM is also using the MDM system to establish consistent processes across component brands, and between its product information and marketing teams.
