Develop and deploy rich, smart process applications

Kofax has released TotalAgility 7.1, an enhanced version of its smart process application development and deployment platform, as well as TotalAgility Cloud, which delivers the platform as a multitenant or dedicated instance Microsoft Azure-hosted SaaS subscription offering.

Kofax explains TotalAgility 7.1 now offers a multitenant on-premise perpetual license as an alternative to a conventional on-premise perpetual license. The multitenant on-premise perpetual license provides business process outsourcers, service bureaus and shared service centers with unique capabilities. They include the ability to more easily offer on-premise or cloud-based services to multiple customers or business units using a single installation of the software, while better segregating their respective users, processes, content, reporting and analytics.

Kofax reports TotalAgility Cloud enables enterprises to transform and simplify real-time, information-intensive customer interactions by exploiting the benefits of a hosted SaaS subscription offering, including the ability to:

• quickly prototype and deploy a solution without needing to purchase, install, configure and maintain hardware and software;
• meet line-of-business objectives through operating budgets rather than capital expenditure budgets and IT dependencies; and
• protect sensitive information and ensure business continuity by leveraging Microsoft Azure’s cloud infrastructure, which provides a secure and scalable environment with high availability and automatic load balancing.
