LexisNexis Risk Solutions, a leading provider of data and analytics, announced that Identity Proofing for MyChart from LexisNexis Risk Solutions is now available in the Epic Toolbox Program as part of the Identity Verification for MyChart Category.

According to LexisNexis, the toolbox designation validates that the solution aligns with the Epic integration and functionality best practices.

The integration gives U.S. hospitals and health systems using Epic electronic health record systems convenient access to a modular suite of identity verification and risk decisioning tools designed to help protect Epic MyChart accounts and secure patient data while reducing unnecessary friction for legitimate users, the company said.

Epic customers can select and combine capabilities based on their desired patient experience, operational priorities, and level of assurance associated with risk tolerance.

With integration available through the Epic Connection Hub, no custom development is required.

Identity Proofing for MyChart provides access to solutions that use AI and machine learning to analyze patterns across billions of identity events beyond healthcare interactions, giving organizations broader intelligence to apply layered identity proofing within existing workflows.
