Access Strategy Group and Foxit collaborate to make documents more compliant and accessible
Access Strategy Group (ASG), a digital accessibility consultancy, and Foxit, a global PDF and document software company, are partnering to make documents seamless and more accessible.
Access Pro is an integrated document remediation solution for Foxit PDF Editor and PDF Editor+ that enhances Foxit’s industry-leading PDF editing capabilities by enabling accessibility specialists to edit PDFs, audit accessibility, remediate issues, validate compliance, and certify inaccessible documents within a single workflow, according to the companies.

A single health system or university can hold hundreds of thousands of PDFs. Fixing them requires software that produces accessible files from the start and trained specialists to remediate those already published. Most organizations have neither, and the backlog grows every week, the companies said.
The partnership pairs ASG's remediation expertise with Foxit's document platform, and organizations can put it to work today. Foxit PDF Editor ships with built-in accessibility features now, and Access Pro extends them into full remediation, validation and certification as an organization’s accessibility program matures. Rather than relying on multiple software tools and vendors, teams manage the entire document accessibility workflow, from editing through certification, within the Foxit platform.
Foxit PDF Editor + ASG Access Pro improves outcomes with common document accessibility issues and helps patients reading lab results, students reading the terms of their aid, families reading what a benefits notice decided, and customers reading disclosures before they sign, the vendors said.
ASG’s team remediated document archives for 10 of the largest healthcare providers, 50 of the top universities and three of the largest U.S. financial institutions.
Under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), state and local governments serving 50,000 or more people must bring their digital content into compliance with the WCAG 2.1 Level AA standard by April 26, 2027. Smaller governments, school districts, and other special districts have until April 26, 2028. Organizations receiving federal health funding face a May 11, 2027, deadline. The obligation has not changed, and organizations face legal exposure over documents that people cannot read.
