SDL Releases Provides Document Translation in New Platform for Legal Professionals

SDL, a provider of content creation, translation, management, and delivery, is releasing the SDL Multilingual eDiscovery solution, providing legal professionals with translations of foreign language case-related content.

The SDL Multilingual eDiscovery Solution offers secure, fast, and high-quality translations across large volumes of content and document types.

The solution combines language services and technology, SDL MultiTrans Translation Management System (TMS) and SDL Machine Translation, with RelativityOne, a leading eDiscovery cloud-based platform from Relativity.

Legal professionals only need to submit documents that require translation from within the Relativity platform, and translated files will be returned instantly for the user’s analysis and review. Content is translated to the highest industry standards, helping to eliminate any claims of spoliation in a litigation case.

The legal industry relies on access to knowledge and information, and this solution transforms the traditional, manual approach to understanding and analyzing foreign language content, said Christophe Djaouani, Senior Vice President, SDL.

At launch, the SDL Multilingual eDiscovery Solution offers native support for 70 language pairs including to and from English, German, French, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, Dutch, Chinese (Simplified), Chinese (Traditional), Japanese, Korean, and Russian.

SDL already works with 19 of the top 20 global legal firms, and has a 25 year history in providing secure translation and digital services to the industry.
