Quark’s update to QPP introduces closed-loop content lifecycle management
Quark Software, the provider of content design, automation, and intelligence software, is launching new management and configuration features for Quark Publishing Platform (QPP) NextGen, its content lifecycle management platform. Aimed at diminishing complexity for enterprises, these latest capabilities address issues with content maturity and meeting the needs of internal and external stakeholders.
Through closed-loop content lifecycle management, QPP NextGen relieves organizations of challenges in content maturity across their content stages—such as regulatory compliance, velocity, and ecosystem extensibility—in the wake of massively content-influenced and self-navigated online customers. QPP NextGen automates content creation, collaboration, assembly, omnichannel publishing, and analysis to address a variety of demands.
“As more organizations see the role content plays in supporting business objectives, they also face complexities in areas across their entire content ecosystem,” said Richard Worrell, head of product management and enterprise at Quark. “We have over 40 years of experience in content technology and the new capabilities for our QPP NextGen platform address the current and emerging challenges our customers face when it comes to the creation, collaboration, assembly, publishing, and analysis of content. The new features available within QPP NextGen reinforce our commitment to simplifying complex content processes and put them firmly in control of scaling their operations.”
QPP NextGen offers the following features in their latest update:
- Compliance-controlled content creation through bookmark and headline generation in PDFs that meet compliance standards, particularly those demanded by the European Medicines Agency (EMA).
- Customizable display names for content models, allowing authors to find and select content types for approved use, further improving brand consistency, regulatory compliance, and time-to-market.
- Document management agility which provides authors with the ability to quickly search documents and decide if they should keep, edit, or hide versions of documents, enhancing document version update and time-to-value.
- Self-service automation channels for publishing lets users control how they create and configure their own automation channels, simplifying the omnichannel publishing process and reducing time expenditures.
- New developer SDKs and APIs allows organizations to automate more workflows via an ecosystem composed of a variety of extensibility and integration opportunities, connecting diverse application and data sources to QPP NextGen.
