Metalogix and Microsoft Smooth SharePoint Customers' Move to the Cloud

Metalogix, a provider of software to migrate, manage, and secure content across enterprise collaboration platforms, is partnering with Microsoft Consulting Services (MCS) to jointly offer a solution for the migration of SharePoint to Office 365 (O365) SharePoint Online (SPO). Metalogix is a Microsoft Gold ISV Partner and Managed Partner in Microsoft’s High Potential ISV Group.

Featuring the technology of Metalogix Content Matrix, the companies say, the SPO Migration and Management offer moves SharePoint users and content seamlessly from source to target.  The migration approach leverages a combination of custom-built MCS automation software and direct API integration with Metalogix Content Matrix’s migration engine.

While Metalogix is best known for its migration capabilities, its solutions today extend into a range of other areas such as security and governance, information archiving, and performance and continuity, explained Adam Levithan, director of product management at Metalogix, who was a SharePoint consultant for 9 years before joining Metalogix.

When contemplating a migration path for a heavily used environment in which they have already invested heavily such as SharePoint, clients are especially concerned with depending on trusted vendors to help them make the move safely and efficiently, explained Levithan. The combination of MCS software with Metalogix’s intelligent migration technology and expertise spans assessment, proof of concept, and execution, to help customers achieve their migration goals more quickly and with less risk, he said.

Metalogix and Microsoft Consulting Services are partnering in a joint roadshow in the U.S. and Europe. For more information, go to www.metalogix.com/Events/sharePoint-2016-and-Office-365-Roadshow#ViewAllCities.
