Konica Minolta Joins HPE’s Partner Program

Konica Minolta Business Solutions Europe (GmbH) has joined Hewlett Packard Enterprise’s Partner Program to verify and test the Workplace Hub technology.

Earlier this year, Konica Minolta Business Solutions U.S.A., Inc. (Konica Minolta) introduced Workplace Hub, an IT solution that unifies an organization’s technology via a single centralized platform.

According to the company, the Workplace Hub platform marks its position in the IT services market and mid-term intention to become a leading IoT company, as detailed in its corporate strategy, SHINKA 2019. As part of this strategy, it says global industry partnerships represent a key initiative to realize this vision. As such, Konica Minolta says it is working with a number of additional partners—BrainTribe, Canonical, Microsoft, ScienceLogic, ServiceNow and Sophos—to allow Workplace Hub to offer the best-of-breed solutions that customers expect.

Strong partnerships are necessary when bringing new products to market, observed Donna Korb, director of Worldwide OEM Programs at HPE. By leveraging HPE’s technology within the Workplace Hub, Konica Minolta will  be able to focus on its core innovation, while the companies' combination of technologies and expertise also serves to enhance the user experience, she added.

Christian Mastrodonato, chief technologist at Konica Minolta, recently detailed the Workplace Hub product roadmap, which includes the future integration of IoT, AI, and intelligent edge and decision support capabilities to fuel an intuitive understanding of the business world and enable people to better collaborate and make smarter, data-driven decisions.
