KnowledgeLake Unveils New Cloud Capture Platform

KnowledgeLake, a document processing solutions provider, has released a cloud capture platform that allows users to capture, index, process and route business content to multiple destinations, including Microsoft SharePoint Online, without the burden of on-premises software installation.

More than 50% of companies use at least three repositories, resulting in businesses often being challenged with proper information governance, employee productivity, and timely decision making, depending on the accuracy and availability of content, said KnowledgeLake CEO Bernie Schweiss. The new cloud-based, distributed capture solution standardizes document processing and helps ensure compliance and governance of content, he noted.

With no software to install, the cloud-based solution gives organizations the ability to capture and tag documents or batches while the platform routes content based on business rules to the repository of choice. The platform can inherit already-built taxonomy and meta data structures from existing repositories.

The first release of KnowledgeLake’s cloud capture solution includes integrations to Microsoft SharePoint, SharePoint Online, Box, Egnyte, AODocs, and file shares.

The extensible platform also allows for the development of further integrations to ERP, accounting, and other line-of-business applications.
