KnowledgeLake Announces Cloud Capture Integration with Box

KnowledgeLake, a document processing solutions innovator, has announced the integration of its cloud capture platform with Box’s cloud content management solution to enable users to scan, upload and tag content to Box.

The KnowledgeLake cloud capture solution enables organizations to import high volumes of content into Box from multiple, remote locations from any browser-enabled device. The solution automatically categorizes and routes content based on business rules — taking the guesswork out of how and where to store things.  KnowledgeLake’s solution utilizes image processing technology from parent company Fujitsu to enhance the image quality of scanned documents. Image clean-up functionality includes character manipulation, background clean-up, color drop-out, blank page removal, page rotation and more.

The cloud capture platform combines fast and high-quality capture with the ability to inherit existing taxonomies and metadata structures from Box or other repositories. According to KnowledgeLake, its technology also makes it easy to migrate documents from a file system or another repository into Box. The solution standardizes business processes, keeps information governed, and ensures quick and effective information searches and retrievals.
