Adobe updates open platform for customer experience management 

Adobe has launched two updates to Adobe Experience Platform, which became generally available in March.

The additions to the platform were announced by Monica Lay, group product marketing manager for Adobe Experience Platform, in an Adobe blog post.

Adobe Experience Platform, an open platform for customer experience management (CXM) to accelerate business transformation, helps equip brands with the tools to humanize data.

The two additions to Adobe Experience Platform are:

  • Adobe Experience Platform Query Service: Brands typically struggle with the time-consuming process of combing through siloed data, but with Adobe’s query service, analysts and data scientists can pull all their datasets stored in AEP at the drop of a dime. Companies can now quickly get a clear view of the all the data coming in across channels to drive meaningful insights.
  • Adobe Experience Platform Data Science Workspace: By automating mundane and repetitive tasks + understanding and predicting customer behavior using AI, Data Science Workspace empowers brands to better engage their audiences. Brands can automatically pull key insights and predictions across Adobe Experience Cloud to deliver more personalized and targeted experiences for customers across all digital touchpoints.

“As the past decade has given way to an explosion of data across every organization, existing technologies have been forced to work fast, and weren’t built for continuous insight and intelligence,” said Lay. “Data scientists are not always using their time in the most effective way; many estimate that they spend 80% of their time on the tedious task of cleaning and organizing the data: making sense of the many different siloed data streams, identifying the relevant datasets and managing data governance. Pairing this with processes simply not designed to act immediately, the act of delivering real-time personalization at scale has become a burden for many brands.”

Experience Platform Query Service and Data Science Workspace, powered by Adobe Sensei, Adobe’s AI and machine learning technology, are now live in Adobe Experience.
