Accusoft Launches New ImageGear Updates, Adding Support for Windows and Visual Studio

Accusoft, a provider of content and imaging solutions, is releasing a new version of its document imaging suite, ImageGear, to offer new PDF optimization and compression.

A multi-platform, multi-language document imaging developer toolkit, ImageGear .NET v23.2 will also provide Acroforms Custom Widget, added sample support for Visual Studio 2017, Windows Server 2016 support.

PDF optimization and compression enables users to remove metadata and compress large files and images by an average of 45%. This saves valuable storage space while maintaining the fidelity of the original image or document.

ImageGear's new Acroforms custom widget support allows for the customization of form fields in PDFs such as background color, border color width and style as well as the text color, font, and size. This new feature enables users to customize their PDF forms to fit their unique needs and style.

By adding Visual Studio 2017 sample code and Windows Server 2016 support, Accusoft is ensuring that the company will continuously provide programming environments and code samples to make deployment of SDKs easier.
