Portal helps employees, employersAs one of the world’s largest providers of personnel services for businesses, Snelling and Snelling wants to offer clients the most modern “bells and whistles” available to the staffing industry. And sometimes those bells and whistles incorporate KM-related technology.

Snelling and Snelling has decided to implement the InfoImage Decision Portal from InfoImage for its employees, franchisees and customers. The portal will connect more than 300 business locations to Snelling.com and offer online recruitment and order fulfillment services for those in need of employees and those in need of employment.

The goal of the deployment is to streamline and improve the personnel application process by gathering relevant information and providing a collaborative environment for Snelling and Snelling users in nationwide.

According to Robert Wakefield, VP of front-office technology at Snelling and Snelling, “The portal will give our employees and franchisees a tool to share information about applicants, job openings and performance across the Internet. It will provide our customers with a platform to collaborate with our offices using their own portal profile, thereby streamlining the job application and hiring process.

InfoImage says the portal allows users to speed the decision-making process at all layers of an organization by giving workers the ability to gather and analyze relevant information, collaborate with subject matter experts throughout the network, make decisions and take action.

“By providing users with an experience that is intuitive and tailored to their particular role or process,” says Randy Eckel, president and CEO of InfoImage, “Snelling and InfoImage have created a top-of-the-line tool” for staffing contract, temporary and temporary-to-hire personnel.
