Keynotes "push the envelope"

The two keynote speakers at AIIM'99 in Atlanta seem to fit the bill for "pushing the envelope of technology," as claimed by John Mancini, president of AIIM International (www. aiim.org).

AIIM'99 attendess will hear from Ted Leonsis, president and CEO of America Online Studios (www.aol.com), on Tuesday, April 13 at 9 a.m.

Leonsis will focus on E-commerce, the role of the Web in document and information management and how Web technologies impact the business channel.

Wednesday's keynote centers around Linus Torvalds, the creator of the Linux operating system. Speaking at 9 a.m., Torvalds and a panel made up of industry and editorial leaders will explore the role of Linux in document technology.
