Article Featured Image

Our 2018 list of 100 Companies That Matter in Knowledge Management is compiled over the course of the year via input from editors, analysts, experts and, most importantly, users. It consists of companies that capture our attention for various reasons including functionality, demonstrated success with clients, creativity and innovation.

In the years since we first named companies to the list, the technology has changed dramatically. In the beginning, solutions involved basic processes like capturing forms. Now knowledge management encompasses sophisticated capabilities like artificial intelligence, machine learning and digital assistants. As the functionality has evolved and exhibited ever more human-like capabilities, we are awed by the progress, mystified and excited about what the future will bring and confident that it will enrich our world.

In selecting organizations to be included on the list, we consider stories about how they have succeeded in helping customers solve business problems, and we review product news to ensure their offerings have not stagnated. We look for widely adopted and revered technology as well as technology on the cusp of greatness.

The companies we have chosen for our 2018 list of 100 Companies That Matter in Knowledge Management have proven their stuff. We are impressed and sometimes bowled over by what they offer.
