AI 100 Trailblazer: Enterprise Knowledge - Leading at the Intersection of Knowledge Management and Artificial Intelligence

For the last decade at Enterprise Knowledge (EK), we’ve been helping organizations realize the promise of Artificial Intelligence, and leveraging Knowledge Management as a critical foundation. We’re grateful to KMWorld for recognizing us as a leader in AI, especially alongside our other recognition as one of the top companies in KM for nine years in a row.

Our view of the field is simple. AI has the potential to transform how organizations do business, combining an organization’s wealth of knowledge, information, and data, in all its forms, to help people make decisions, spot trends, learn, and perform in new ways. However, none of that can come to fruition without the right foundations of quality content, appropriate structure, and consistent mapping and design of relationships. This is where KM transformations come in as a key enabler of AI. For many of our clients, this is the difference between another failed attempt at AI, and a definitive success that shows early and consistent business value.

We’ve helped our clients realize these synergies, and as a result they are improving their KM systems while leveraging them to achieve Enterprise AI capabilities. This means developing a rich knowledge fabric layer (through knowledge graphs) to enable enterprise systems and applications to discover, infer, recommend, and predict information in the ways that people think about and describe data.

We are working with organizations at every stage of their journeys, from initial strategy and business case development, through design and piloting, to enterprise-wide transformations and operations. We’ve achieved unmatched success for our clients in this because we partner with them and help them recognize the mutual dependencies of KM and AI.
