Socialtext continues to advance business social software with the introduction of two significant additions to its Wiki-driven platform: Socialtext Dashboard and Socialtext People.

The company says the new offerings are designed to extend the Wiki platform for people to gain additional insight by managing their information, conversations and connections. Socialtext reports that Version 3.0 of its namesake software includes:

• Socialtext Dashboards allow personalized and customizable dashboards with multiple widgets to, for example, monitor internal and external social software activity such as news feeds of your colleagues’ activity in Wikis, etc., and
• Socialtext People provides full social networking adapted for the enterprise to bring knowledge workers to easily discover and share content, locate experts, meet colleagues, etc.

Socialtext also launched four core Solution Areas: Business Social Networks, Collaborative Intelligence, Flexible Client Collaboration and Participatory Knowledgebase.
