More DAM for Mac

Extensis is offering a free update of Portfolio 8, its digital asset management software, for Intel-based Macs.

The Macintosh-only update is what Extensis calls a Universal Application, adding native support for Intel-based Macintosh systems. The free update supports Portfolio Single-User, Portfolio Client, Portfolio Server, Portfolio NetPublish, Portfolio NetPublish for Server, Portfolio SQL-Connect and Portfolio Browser.

Portfolio 8 is designed for marketing and creative workgroups and has been engineered to streamline workflows through organizing, viewing, routing, archiving and distributing creative assets, says Extensis. The company adds that the software ensures proper use of a brand's creative assets across all internal and external teams, partners and vendors, while facilitating location of the proper assets.
