Metazoa announces new DevOps Solution for Salesforce
Metazoa, developers of the Salesforce ecosystem’s software toolset for org management, is offering a new DevOps solution for free on the Salesforce AppExchange.
Metazoa Cascade combines powerful DevOps tooling with Sprint and User Story management capabilities designed to enhance collaboration between Salesforce administrators and developers. A native Salesforce application, Cascade is fully integrated with Salesforce Clouds and Salesforce DX.

Cascade enables developers to deploy metadata assets between any Salesforce org, Git repository or local project with ease.
Salesforce DX support includes the ability to push and pull metadata changes from scratch orgs. Unlike other solutions that can take months to configure, Cascade works instantly with any org, and does not require a package install, according to the vendor.
Cascade also helps manage collaborative projects. Managers can create Sprints and assign User Stories to individual developers and administrators.
These individual contributors can add metadata assets and deployment tasks to their User Stories. Advanced features include Kanban Boards, Gantt Charts, Burndown Graphs and Overlap Awareness. In an industry first, Cascade can automatically merge User Stories for deployment without requiring manual editing of XML documents in Git, which can be cumbersome and error-prone.
All of Cascade’s benefits result in improved quality and productivity, faster releases, and reduced cost of org ownership.
Other apps developed by Metazoa available on the Salesforce AppExchange include its Salesforce org management toolset Metazoa Snapshot, and Metazoa Monarch, a relational data migration tool.
In addition to Cascade, Metazoa is offering Monarch and its specialized field and picklist usage reports, profiles and permission sets reports and data dictionary reports for free as well.
