Enterprise relationship search

Contact Networks has released ContactNet 4.0, which allows organizations to transform employee contacts into an enterprise resource. It enables large organizations to securely access and efficiently utilize the relationships and social networks that employees have with outside contacts and companies.

With Version 4.0, users can search for key introductions by business function, geography and industry--as well as the name, title and company of their targets--to find the contacts that will drive sales and partnerships. Real-time response combined with intuitive pinpoint search translates directly into better business performance as large companies can effectively tap the professional contact networks their employees have built over their careers, says Contact Network.

The company says ContactNet 4.0 features include:

  • advanced search control capabilites;

  • search for target contacts by business function, geography and industry;

  • real-time relationship search for organizations from 20 to 200,000 users;

  • enhanced security and preferences settings;

  • enterprise-level settings for privacy and sharing preferences;

  • detailed personal control levels over contact sharing;

  • group-based permissions allow specific setting for groups or departments;

  • assistant access--enable users to create delegate permissions for assistants;

  • extended compatibility;

  • full integration with Lotus Domino 6.5/Lotus Workplace; and

  • full support for LDAP and active directory systems.
