Bridging the gap

In a move designed to help its customers to expand self-service to a broader set of enterprise content management (ECM) resources, iPhrase has partnered with enterprise content integration vendor Venetica.

The deal allows iPhrase to offer packaged connectors for its One Step platform. They are available for almost a dozen of the most prevalent repositories of enterprise content, including Lotus Notes, Documentum, IBM Content Manager, FileNet and Open Text, among others. These new connectors, available immediately, expand on One Step's existing integrations to such systems as Interwoven’s TeamSite and MetaTagger. The partnership also expands One Step's collection of document filters to over 200 enterprise file formats.

The companies say the combined solution enables iPhrase One Step customers to expand their self-service applications to leverage content stored and controlled in additional document and content management systems. These new connectors, enabled by Venetica's VeniceBridge technology, also accelerate One Step's deployment by simplifying the acquisition of content housed in those systems.
