I’ll take the fifth

Venetica has introduced Version 5.0 of its VeniceBridge content integration software. The new release is said to significantly increase the types of content repositories that can be integrated with enterprise applications through its single, bi-directional interface.

VeniceBridge 5.0 features include:

Universal workflow access. VeniceBridge 5.0 expands universal view to include a common inbox to disparate workflow engines such as Documentum and FileNet as well as independent business process management engines such as IBM’s MQSeries Workflow. Target engines also include Microsoft BizTalk, Open Text, Staffware and others.

Integration to enterprise report management systems. In addition to documents, scanned images and rich media, VeniceBridge 5.0 will also make available statements, invoices and other information stored in enterprise report management systems, including IBM OnDemand, Mobius ViewDirect and FileNet Panagon Report Manager.

Subscription Services. 5.0 also includes the addition of an event subscription model that can provide notification when a document or workflow change has been made. For example, portal users can subscribe to a document so they are notified when a change occurs or a company can build processes to automatically synchronize changes to content across disparate repositories.
