Captiva and Pyramid partner

Captiva Software has formed a strategic partnership with software engineer and systems integrator Pyramid Solutions.

The companies report the deal enables Pyramid to provide a complete document management solution by integrating Captiva's FormWare with Pyramid's packaged applications software for government, financial institutions and manufacturing companies.

They claim the combined solution offers efficient and secure management of any type of critical business document or digitized data. This combination of imaging and document management allows scanned images, OCR and associated metadata to be exported from Captiva's FormWare to Pyramid's Line of Business systems--initiating business processes by simultaneously capturing the original document and executing the necessary workflow.
