The company reports the new software gives users the ability the ability to customize their preferred method of viewing and using Retriever. Plus, it says, it can now host the search interface within their corporate intranet or portal. Further, says 80-20, they can embed the search interface in a custom application that lives on the desktop, allowing companies to extract even more value by leveraging the applications and interfaces to which their users are already accustomed
