The virtues of Panagon

Featuring the ability to synchronize multiple processes, eProcess Services from FileNet also allows the automatic launching of document life cycle procedures with Panagon Content services. Addition new elements also include submaps and support for Internet attachments.

FileNet explains that synchronization enables one process to wait until a separate process is created or gets updated according to specified criteria. For example, a new hire process could check for confirmation of previous employment through a separate process before creating an employment offer letter, without the need for any custom development.

Panagon eProcess 4.2 also offers submaps to facilitate the creation, maintenance and tracking of complex processes, says FileNet, adding that they support re-use of process definitions enabling deployment of a single process to many complex processes.

To further enhance the integration of Panagon eProcess Services within Enterprise Content Management, FileNet says, it has added the ability to enable attachment of Internet links to processes--in addition to other forms of content, such as images and documents. Furthermore, processes can now be auto-launched when documents are added or checked into Panagon Content Services.
