Penetrating CRM verticals

In a move said to extend their relationship into the healthcare and financial services markets, Pegasystems and Sun Microsystems have developed PegaCRM, a rules-driven process automation solution for customer relationship management. The companies will participate in joint engineering, business development and co-marketing and sales efforts.

The companies report that within a framework of flexible rules that capture best practices unique to a company or industry, PegaCRM drives the automated fulfillment of a wide range of customer service requests across the Web, call center and other points of contact. The solution will run on Sun's Solaris Operating Environment, Sun Enterprise servers and Sun StorEdge disk arrays.
