Securing the supply chain

In an alliance designed to provide a unified authentication model, the two companies have agreed to tightly integrate Vigilance Analytics and Vigilance Alerts with Netegrity SiteMinder.

Netegrity says SiteMinder makes e-business Web sites more secure by providing a centralized policy platform to manage users and their access to applications and resources. This centralized approach to security management is said to allow companies to greatly reduce administration cost and complexity.

Vigilance explains its supply chain event management suite allows users to create their own Personal 1:1 Agents that watch the supply chain for rules-based exceptions. Once an event is detected, Vigilance Alerts notifies the affected community in real time via the Web or any wireless device. Vigilance's secure Web-based active desk tracks the event until resolved. Vigilance Analytics are provided to determine supply chain process variables and improve process management and learning.
