ThoughtShare releases PlanBee 2.0

With Version 2.0 of its PlanBee software, ThoughtShare Communications has developed a network version of its software designed for deployment in mid-market enterprises or departments within large organizations.

PlanBee allow users to create a file format that ThoughtShare calls a buzPak, which is a visual collection of Web research, attached files and personal notes that creates a package of knowledge on a selected topic.

The company explains that once installed on the LAN, PlanBee no longer requires installation on individual PCs, and IT administrators can perform upgrades through the server, updating the users automatically. In Version 2.0, users can now capture Web pages that have both dynamic frames and static URL addresses. The company further reports it has enhanced the software’s graphical user interface to makes Web research more efficient.

Business, academic or governmental users can purchase licensed copies of PlanBee 2.0 directly from ThoughtShare's Web site. Pricing starts at $99.95 per user with volume discounts available. PlanBee will remain as a free download for personal use only.
