Semio targets verticals

Semio has developed specific terminology and categorization packages for specialized content for the chemical, medical, legal, military and computing industries using industry-standard classifications and thesauri.

The templates employ Semio's core technology, Semio Tagger, to enable automatic analysis and organization of content from disparate sources to give users information in context. Tagger can be embedded directly in a portal or used in conjunction with Semio's viewers, Semio Map and Semio Taxonomy. The new templates provide predefined industry-specific terminology and classification enabling a rapid implementation of the Semio solution. Semio plans to release templates for other industries in the near future based on customer demand.
