Intraspect launches c-Apps

Intraspect Software has introduced applications suites for collaboration in the professional services automation (PSA), customer relationship management (CRM) and supply chain management marketplaces. Called c-Apps, these suites are built on Intraspect’s collaboration business (c-business) platform and complement and integrate with existing PSA, CRM and supply chain desktop environments.

Deployed and integrated upon a single platform, c-Apps do not replace existing tools that provide transaction data and track customer and project status and milestones. Rather, they complement them, focusing on the collaborative, knowledge-centric aspects of the process. c-Apps are said to streamline business processes and extend collaboration beyond the walls of an organization by enabling companies to integrate more closely with their customers, partners and suppliers.

The PSA Suite of c-Apps is designed to address the problems faced by professional service organizations with specific applications targeted for business development, personnel management and engagement management, as well as with an executive dashboard for communicating key metrics.

The CRM suite reportedly addresses the specific problems faced by organizations needing to integrate collaborative activity associated with daily customer interaction into existing CRM applications.

The supply chain offering is geared toward solving the problems faced by manufacturing organizations with specific applications targeted for collaborative product design. Intraspect says deployment of the software allows manufacturing firms to dynamically and intelligently collaborate with customers, suppliers and partners across multi-tiered supply chains.
