Compaq establishes KM services group

Compaq Computer is focusing on the services side of knowledge management systems with the announcement of a new Knowledge Management Assessment Service and the establishment of an Enterprise Solutions and Services Group.

The KM Assessment Service is designed to help customers identify and understand business problems that require KM solutions. Consultants from the Enterprise Solutions and Services Group are then able to recommend appropriate strategies and technologies for developing a KM system around the customers existing IT environment
